After sitting with days that ask nothing of me, I’m starting to feel what the day itself wants. It took a bit of curiosity, but slowly…almost imperceptibly. I noticed ideas arriving to help me organize my day naturally. Not forced. There was no sudden influx of activities. My tolerance for time and space seemed to be growing. My body was more patient with a few hours of downtime and content filling the time with things that felt real.
Having energy to write. To dream. To pick up my paintbrush again and to play a bit with colour and texture.
Rhythm quietly emerged without being forced. Joy bubbled up unexpectedly and the sun shone, even if the clouds were out.
Touch points in my days became anchors, anchors to help me ground, not drift. A quick touch base with one of my children, a coffee with a new neighbour. Always a walk with my dog. Grounding, not an obligation.
Intentional, but not forced. Not emptiness. Peaceful, inspiring — an invitation to put one foot forward and trust it was right.
